DAY 7 – I AM THE VINE, YOU ARE THE BRANCHES
John 15:4-5
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Since the beginning of time - Gods plan was for His people to be fruitful! To increase, to multiply. Fruitfulness is important to Father God!
Jesus took his disciples to the vineyard in the middle of the night to give them an illustration we cannot misunderstand. It was a lesson on fruit bearing. God ordained fruit to grow only on the branches of a tree.
When Jesus told us “I am the vine” - He was telling us ‘You don’t have to worry about where you will get the strength, the anointing, the power you need to succeed in life” because I AM the ‘trunk’ of this life giving tree ….
In nature, the trunk connects the unseen root system to the leafy crown, of the tree. The trunk elevates the branches so that the fruit has unhindered growth. The trunk protects the flow of nutrition to those branches. The trunk connected to the root system provides balance and stability to the branches. But the precious fruit of any tree only grows on the branches!
Jesus is the true vine - you and I are His branches! What a place of privilege we have been given! We are connected to the vine. We have been elevated above the contamination of the dirt for the purpose of bearing fruit. Fruit that will bring life to others, fruit for blessing and leaves for healing.
”…the fruit of the tree is for food, leaves are for healing”. Ezekiel 47:12 NLT
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” Galatians 5:22 NLT
As we press into God, the fruit of our personal relationship with Christ will grow to nourish others. Your personal portion will come straight from the vine (the trunk)! He is your daily bread, your living water.
The fruit you produce as His branch is not intended as an adornment, but to be eaten by those in need of life and healing. Through your fruit they can “taste and see that the Lord is good”! Through your life they can experience the love, joy, peace and goodness that comes only from Jesus.
I can’t grow fruit myself. Even with my best efforts I fall short. Life giving Fruit can only come as the result of my personal connection with the Vine. He produces life in me. The stronger the connection, the sweeter the fruit. I don’t work at growing fruit, I focus on knowing Christ! Let’s continue to press into Him!

DÍA 7 - YO SOY LA VID, USTEDES SON LAS RAMAS
Juan 15: 4-5
Permanece en mí, como yo también permanezco en ti. Ninguna rama puede dar fruto por sí sola; debe permanecer en la vid. Tampoco puedes dar fruto si no permaneces en mí. 5 “Yo soy la vid; ustedes son las ramas. Si permaneces en mí y yo en ti, darás mucho fruto; Aparte de mí no puedes hacer nada.
Desde el principio de los tiempos, ¡el plan de Dios era que su pueblo fuera fructífero! Qué aumentará, que se multiplicará. ¡Ser fructífero es importante para Dios Padre!
Jesús llevó a sus discípulos a la viña en medio de la noche para darles una ilustración que no podemos malinterpretar. Fue una lección sobre la producción de frutos. Dios ordenó que la fruta creciera solo en las ramas de un árbol.
Cuando Jesús nos dijo “Yo soy la vid”, nos estaba diciendo 'No tienes que preocuparte de dónde obtendrás la fuerza, la unción, el poder que necesitas para tener éxito en la vida ”porque YO SOY el' tronco ' de este árbol que da vida….

En la naturaleza, el tronco conecta el sistema de raíces invisible con la copa frondosa del árbol. El tronco eleva las ramas para que el fruto tenga un crecimiento sin obstáculos. El tronco protege el flujo de nutrición a esas ramas. El tronco conectado al sistema de raíces proporciona equilibrio y estabilidad a las ramas. ¡Pero el fruto precioso de cualquier árbol solo crece en las ramas!
Jesús es la vid verdadera, ¡tú y yo somos sus pámpanos! ¡Qué lugar de privilegio se nos ha dado! Estamos conectados a la vid. Hemos sido elevados por encima de la contaminación de la tierra con el propósito de dar fruto. Fruto que traerá vida a los demás, frutos para bendición y hojas para sanar.
“… El fruto del árbol es para comer, las hojas son para curar”. Ezequiel 47:12 NLT
“Pero el Espíritu Santo produce este tipo de fruto en nuestra vida; amor, gozo, paz, paciencia, bondad, bondad, fidelidad ". Gálatas 5:22 NTV

A medida que nos profundizamos en Dios, el fruto de nuestra relación personal con Cristo crecerá para nutrir a otros. ¡Tu porción personal vendrá directamente de la vid (el tronco)! Él es tu pan de cada día, tu agua viva.
El fruto que produce como Su rama no está destinado a ser un adorno, sino para ser comido por aquellos que necesitan vida y sanidad. ¡A través de tu fruto ellos pueden “probar y ver que el Señor es bueno”! A través de su vida, ellos pueden experimentar el amor, la alegría, la paz y la bondad que solo proviene de Jesús.
Yo no puedo cultivar frutas. Incluso con mis mejores esfuerzos, me quedo corto. La Fruta que da vida solo puede venir como resultado de mi conexión personal con la Vid. Él produce vida en mí. Cuanto más fuerte sea la conexión, más dulce será la fruta. No trabajo en el area de cultivar fruta, ¡me concentro en conocer a Cristo! ¡Sigamos presionando hacia Él!
