What to Expect at Kidz Church
Kidz Church is a place where kids can have a great big life with a great big God. A place where faith, imagination, and learning go hand in hand. A place where loving God is cool and kids rule! Infants and Toddlers
3 months to 2 years old
Because we are created by such a wonderful God, we believe that our children will recognize the presence of God His Word and comfort in that environment.
It is during these early years that a child’s foundation is being laid for the rest of their lives. So we endeavor create and environment here at church where children become aware of God’s presence and partner with families in creating the same type of environment at their homes. As our children begin to master their speech, we will teach them to speak the Word of God through repetition
Pre-school thru Kindergarten
3 years to kindergarten
It is our goal to see the children of this age group completely grasp everything about who they are in Christ. This begins by teaching them about who God is, the foundation for their spiritual life. Children in this age group will begin learning how to hear from God and will hear from Him. The authority they have in Christ will also be taught to them. Understanding all of this is key to walking the way we are supposed to be walking as believers. We believe children in this age group will lay hands on the sick and see them recover.
Kidz Church
1st grade to 5th grade
Children need more than the elementary principles if they are going to continue walking with Christ. It is so important that the children have knowledge of who they are in Christ. That is why we endeavor to teach the importance of discipleship. Teaching the children about discipleship is not enough to get them excited about it. We believe it is our role to encourage the children to read their Bibles and pray. This way they will know exactly who they are in Christ, because it will be Christ revealing it to them.
We are educating the children in Word to not only hear it but we are also helping them to understand how to apply the Word in their everyday lives. We will nurture this group to be the leaders as well as examples to the smaller children. This age group is learning how to be sensitive to the voice of the Lord. They are also learning to be led by the Holy Spirit in their personal daily walk. They will grow confident in who they are in Christ and in their salvation.
