HIS PROMISES ARE YES AND AMEN

Joshua 21:45 (NLT) Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything He had spoken came true.

God proved faithful in fulfilling every promise He had given to Israel. However, fulfillment of some promises took several years, yet God still remained faithful to His Word nonetheless.

When a promise is delayed, we all tend panic and become restless, worrying about our future needs and dreams. We want God to perform in our way, right away! But remember, God’s Word will be fulfilled according to His timetable, not yours!

Jesus instructed His disciples,

Matthew 6:30-34 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. "So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today."

Your part is pretty simple: Do what He told you to do today and trust Him with tomorrow.

God’s part: Be faithful to His Word. God will be faithful because it is impossible for Him not to be. Faithfulness is part of His Holy character. And, His Word is creative. It happens even as He speaks it!

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV) For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
